Mortar admixture hpmc hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

HPMC, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, is a nonionic cellulose ether, white to off-white powder, which can be used as a thickener, adhesive, film former, surfactant, protective colloid, lubricant, emulsifier, suspending agent and water retention aid.
It is widely use in many fields like the following:
1.In the polymerization reaction of synthetic resins, hpmc can be used as a dispersant and suspending agent for the polymerization reaction of vinyl chloride and its copolymers; an emulsifier for the copolymerization of dichloroethylene and vinyl acetate; a suspending stabilizer for the copolymerization of vinyl acetate and vinyl chloride; a stabilizer for the graft copolymerization of butadiene, acrylonitrile, and styrene, etc. As an additive in the pharmaceutical and food industries, it has the functions of thickening, solidification, film formation, dispersion, and stabilization, as well as moisture-proofing, mildew-proofing, and moisture retention.
2.In the coating industry, it can be used as an emulsifier, thickener, film former, and stabilizer.
3.In the field of photosensitive printing plate making, its film-forming and photodegradable properties are mainly used, and it can be quickly developed with water. As a detergent, it can improve the anti-fouling ability of fabrics.
