Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is nonionic cellulose ether, formed by etherification under alkaline conditions, is an odorless, non-toxic white or off-white powder that can be dissolved in cold water and swell into a transparent or slightly turbid colloidal viscos solution.

1.Ink printing: As a thickener, dispersant and stabilizer in the ink industry, it has good compatibility in water or organic solvents.
